Ben Acker and Ben Blacker are most known as the creators and writers of the Thrilling Adventure Hour, a staged show in the style of old time radio, that ran monthly for ten years to sold out crowds, an LA staple featuring the best ensemble of all. 

Acker is the creator of the webcomic Kid Midnight (www.kidmidnightcomic.com) about super heroes and FEELINGS. Blacker is the creator of the hit DC/Vertigo comic Hex Wives, which is Bewitched meets The Stepford Wives. Look for it wherever comic books are sold.

Acker & Blacker have written all sorts of everything. Television, Star Wars novels, comic books, the actual non-pretend radio. They can’t stop and they won’t stop. 

Acker & Blacker are excited to return to their first and truest love, The Thrilling Adventure Hour for SF Sketchfest 2020! 

They’re currently developing an animated series with AMC Studios and are producing Cut & Run, a series about the best friendship between kidney thieves, as an Audible original series. They are also developing projects with Project 10 (Schitt's Creek) and Atomic Monster (James Wan).
