Nick Taravella
I'm a comic and writer from Michigan and got my start doing joke punch-ups on two indie comedies. The first was a festival film called "Conception: starring Julie Bowen of "Modern Family." And the next was a spoof movie called "The Hungover Games" starring Jamie Kennedy. I went on to write for the CBS’s live sketch showcase. And later co-wrote the movie "Crawlspace" that ran on SHOWTIME.
I'm currently writing for and acting in a sketch group called "MODEM" and doing stand-up in LA, having shared the stage with David Koechner, Nikki Glaser, Darren Carter, Lachlan Patterson, Mitch Fatel of “Comedy Central Presents,” and most recently the world famous Yakov Smirnoff. Club credits include The Hollywood Improv, The Ice House, Westside Comedy Theater, The Comedy Studio in Boston, and The Setup in SF.
