Some People Like Us

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Some People Like Us is a show hosted by good friends and cultural talking points, gay white Casey Ley (Time Out LA's Comics-to-Watch 2019) and straight black Kaseem Bentley (Comedy Central, VICELAND). The show features quick banter on hot-button social issues, comedy from some of the nation's best performers, games where everybody plays and nobody wins, a lot of unanswered questions and zero guns. It's like a more fun, physically safer version of everyday life in America. Individually, Kaseem's comedy has been called "the best racial humor you don't feel bad laughing at" (SFWeekly) and Casey's "difficult not to like, unless you're a prude," (Time Out LA). Collectively, they are a just real fun time...even if you are a racist prude. This is a partially seated show—arrive early for a seat. ($18, 21+)
