Vicious Cycle Podcast

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Vicious Cycle is the weekly comedy podcast that seeks to demystify, bitch about and laugh at periods.

Beyond interviewing gynecologists, trans folks who bleed and OUR MOMS, we've also snagged interviews with
-comedians Joann Schinderle, Francesca Fiorentini and Luna Malbroux
-Vox/MSNBC journalist/author Liz Plank
-Producer of the Oscar-winning film “Period: End of Sentence” Sophie Ascheim

We're in our 3rd season and have a dedicated group of fans who call themselves blisteners (bleeding listeners - our show is a lot of puns) who share their stories with us through our hotline: 910-6-UTERUS. It has a jingle.

ABOUT YOUR CO-BLOSTS
Kate Elston, Meg Hayes and Meg Trowbridge are experts in menstruation and have been bleeders for decades, even though we often forget to pack extra tampons. We’re BFFs and have been improvising for 10+ years with The Ballroom (formerly Chinese Ballroom). We also write/direct/act with San Francisco's premiere sketch group Killing My Lobster. Kate is a journalist/producer, Meg Hayes is a public school teacher and Meg Trowbridge is a professional writer and VERY good singer who makes the other two look bad. (Free, 21+)
